THE LEVANT / PRIVATE ACCESS
A house of craft.
A sense of belonging.
A guide to the Ledger, the rhythm of the house, and the details that make every return your own.
01 / THE PRIVATE ACCESS GUIDE
The Levant Ledger
For those who return with intention. A place within the house is reserved for you and your collection. Belonging begins to take its shape.
There is one membership of the house. It is complete, and every member is held within it alike.
The Levant Ledger is the living record of those who belong to the house: their preferences, their collections, and the details that transform good service into personal recognition.
The annual contribution is renewed each year in accordance with the membership terms communicated by the house.
Food, beverages, cigars, bottles and separately arranged private-function services are charged independently unless expressly agreed otherwise. Cigars enjoyed at The Levant are purchased from the house, and no cutting fee applies.
Admission and its confirmation are set out under Access & Contribution.
In return, The Levant commits to consistency, to memory, and to a standard that does not dilute over time.
02 / THE PRIVATE ACCESS GUIDE
The privileges of the Ledger
Membership establishes familiarity, recognition and a considered relationship with the house.
YOUR PLACE IN THE LEDGER
A private profile of your preferred seating, glassware, selections and service preferences, kept by the house so that each return is more personal than the last.
PRIORITY RESERVATIONS
Members are given priority when reserving, as set out under Reservations & the privilege of place.
PRIVATE USE OF THE HOUSE
Members may request the private use of The Levant for occasions suited to its character. Private functions are reserved exclusively for members and are arranged as set out under Private functions & exclusive use.
THE MEMBER’S COLLECTION
On admission, each member is presented with a personal collection: an ashtray, a whisky glass engraved with the member’s name, a lighter and a cutter. The ashtray and glass remain in the keeping of the house and are set at the member’s table on each visit. The lighter and cutter are the member’s to keep. Lost or damaged pieces may be replaced at the discretion of the house.
CONCIERGE SERVICE
Where available, a concierge may attend to members’ visits, occasions and requests. This is a courtesy of the house, extended at its discretion and subject to availability. It is not a standing entitlement of membership, and its terms are communicated at the time it is offered.
THE HIDDEN SELECTION
Access to rare whiskies, limited releases, off-menu pours, aged cigar selections, curated pairings and seasonal collector offerings, subject to availability and separately communicated pricing.
THE MEMBER’S LOCKER & HUMIDOR
Each member is allocated a dedicated locker for personal use during active membership. Humidor storage may also be made available by arrangement with the house.
PRIORITY ALLOCATIONS
Members receive priority consideration for limited releases, special selections and collector offerings, subject to availability and applicable pricing.
Membership privileges are extended consistently across the membership. They are not dependent on visit frequency or individual spend, except where an offering is separately priced or extended at the discretion of the house.

Plan your visit
The Levant observes its own rhythm. Members are welcome throughout operating hours, with kitchen and beverage service concluding at their stated times.
SERVICE HOURS
House hours Monday – Saturday · 09:00 – 22:00 Kitchen 09:00 – 19:30 Last beverage orders 21:30 House closing 22:00 All beverage orders must be placed by 21:30. The house closes at 22:00, and members and their guests are expected to conclude their visits accordingly. Members wishing to dine are encouraged to arrive and place their orders in good time before kitchen service ends.
RESERVATIONS & THE PRIVILEGE OF PLACE
Members come first, and receive priority when making reservations. Requests should be submitted at least 24 hours in advance to allow the house to prepare for the visit; requests made with less notice will be accommodated where possible.
A reservation is confirmed only once acknowledged by management. Members should provide their name, membership details, date, arrival time, party size and any seating preferences. Priority does not guarantee a particular table or availability beyond the confirmed booking.
Operating hours may be adjusted for private functions, public holidays or exceptional circumstances. Material changes will be communicated by the house.

Seating & private occasions
The Levant’s intimacy is part of its character. Capacity and seating arrangements are managed to preserve the comfort of the house.
The house seats a maximum of 25 persons. Members must provide the correct party size when reserving. Any increase in numbers must be communicated to management and approved before additional guests are accommodated.
Seating is arranged by management alone. Members and guests may not move chairs, tables or other furniture between designated areas or rearrange the layout independently. If a party grows beyond its confirmed number, management will determine whether additional guests can be accommodated and whether a different arrangement is possible.
A reservation does not override the house’s capacity or operational requirements. Additional guests are accommodated only with prior approval.
PRIVATE FUNCTIONS & EXCLUSIVE USE
Private functions at The Levant are a privilege reserved exclusively for members. Non-members may not independently book the premises for private functions.
Members may enquire about reserving the house for celebrations, intimate dinners, business gatherings and other occasions suited to its character. Requests may include exclusive use or an agreed portion of the premises, subject to approval and availability.
No venue-hire fee applies to member-booked private functions. A minimum spend may apply; the applicable amount and arrangements are determined by management for each occasion and confirmed in writing.
No private function is confirmed until the arrangements have been agreed in writing. Management may decline requests that cannot be accommodated within the capacity, operational requirements or standards of the house.
Food and beverage arrangements, guest numbers, timing and additional requirements must be agreed with management beforehand. Private functions remain subject to the house’s maximum capacity of 25 persons and operating hours.
05 / THE PRIVATE ACCESS GUIDE
The member’s year
A dedicated locker is allocated to each member for use during active membership. Humidor storage is available by arrangement, subject to space and the house’s care procedures.
SIGNATURE MEMBER EXPERIENCES
The member calendar is designed to create a year of discovery: quarterly whisky masterclasses; quarterly cigar and whisky pairings; an annual Founders Dinner; visiting brand ambassadors; and selected whisky and cigar showcases.
Invitations, dates, capacity and any separately priced arrangements are communicated in advance.
BIRTHDAY RECOGNITION
The house may mark a member’s birthday with a personal card and a thoughtfully selected cigar, bottle or other gift, placed in the member’s locker where appropriate. The gesture is curated at the house’s discretion.
THE LEVANT PASSPORT
A discreet record of meaningful moments, from a first tasting to a collector’s milestone. The house may recognise these occasions through a private invitation, a note or a small gift. There are no points, spend targets or obligations to participate.
HOUSE RESERVES & COLLECTOR EDITIONS
The Levant may introduce exclusive house-curated whisky or cigar editions and personalised collector gifts for members. Any such release will be announced only once its availability and arrangements have been confirmed.
06 / THE PRIVATE ACCESS GUIDE
Conduct, discretion & dress
The Levant is sustained not by its furnishings or collections alone, but by the conduct of those who enter it.
RESPECT FOR THE HOUSE
Members and guests are expected to treat the premises, furnishings, glassware, collections, staff and fellow members and guests with care and consideration.
DISCRETION & PRIVACY
The privacy of fellow members is to be respected. Personal conversations, identifying details and private gatherings are not to be shared without appropriate consent. Photography or recording of other members requires their permission.
CONSIDERATION & COMPOSURE
Harassment, intimidation, discriminatory conduct, unwanted advances and disruptive behaviour have no place in the house. Members are responsible for the conduct of guests they introduce.
RESPONSIBLE HOSPITALITY
The house may decline further alcohol service where necessary for responsible service and safety. Members and guests are expected to respect the judgement of the house and its staff.
THE DRESS OF THE HOUSE · SMART CASUAL
Guests are asked to dress in a polished, considered smart-casual manner appropriate to the character of the house. A jacket is never required; ease and elegance are welcome in equal measure, particularly in the warmer months.
Tailored trousers, well-kept dark denim, linen, shirts, refined knitwear, dresses, elegant separates and clean, presentable footwear are welcome. Sportswear, gym attire, beachwear, excessively distressed clothing and clothing bearing offensive or disruptive messaging are not considered appropriate.
For private functions and special occasions, a more specific dress code may be communicated in advance. Members are expected to ensure that their guests observe the same standard.
Conduct or attire that compromises the comfort, safety, privacy or standing of the house may be addressed by management, including a request to leave, suspension of privileges or termination of membership in accordance with the membership terms.
07 / THE PRIVATE ACCESS GUIDE
Admission & contribution
Membership of The Levant is by invitation or referral only. Each introduction is considered privately and with care.
Membership is personal to the admitted member and may not be transferred without the house’s written consent.
Renewal, cancellation, refunds, suspension and termination are governed by the applicable membership terms communicated by the house.
THE OPENING VOLUME · THE FIRST INSCRIPTION
The first ten places within The Levant Ledger form The Opening Volume. Each is inscribed permanently in the Ledger as recognition of the house’s first members. This distinction will not be offered again.
When these places are held, the books close. They reopen only when the house is ready and the next season is welcomed. Those who follow are full members of the house, though not permanently inscribed. Later seasons are offered at a higher annual contribution, as communicated at the time of admission.
Permanent inscription recognises a place among the first in the history of The Levant; ongoing access and privileges remain subject to the applicable membership terms.
THE LEDGER’S PROMISE
To recognise your return. To preserve what matters. To make room for the conversations, collections and occasions that deserve a place of their own.
An invitation or referral is an introduction to the house, not confirmation of membership. Membership is confirmed once the annual contribution has been received and admission acknowledged by The Levant. Until then, membership privileges and booking priority do not apply.
